2 - 4:20 pm: Bangor Symphony Youth Orchestra Holiday Music-a-Thon, Bangor Arts Exchange Ballroom, 193 Exchange Street
2:30 - 3 PM Open-Air Holiday Chimes Concert - Unitarian Universalist Society of Bangor (UUSB) will provide a public holiday performance from the church’s historic bell tower
4 - 8:30 pm: Letters to Santa Claus / Warming Station, Charles Inn, 20 Broad Street (tentative)
4:30 - 6:30 pm (ish): Festival of Lights Parade, downtown Bangor
Directly following the parade: Lighting of the Holiday Tree, West Market Square
The Official Parade Route
The “official” parade starting point can be at any point along Exchange Street. At this point it might be an easy landmark to use the intersection of State/Exchange. From there, the route will follow Harlow Street to Central Street. It will turn left onto Central Street and proceed down Central to the intersection at Main/State/Hammond. It then turns right onto Main Street and proceeds up Main Street through the intersection of Main/Union and continues up Main Street towards Cedar Street. The parade will end in the area in front of Davenport Park.
